Some of you may or may not know that last month I got a concussion and seriously sprained my wrist.
The reason behind this was my clumsiness and fatigue in working on this project.
Campus MovieFest, the nation's largest student-film festival group, had their annual "fest" at Boston College and 4 other colleges in the Boston area (in addition to "fests" in Tampa, Cali, etc).

Myself and seven other gifted students made the trailer for the action-packed movie conclusion of the Walden series based on the Transcendentalist novel by Henry David Thoreau. You'll soon see how zanily loosely based it really is.

At the actual Boston Finale
We qualified at top 16 at BC and went to compete with the other schools. We also qualified top 15 of 80!
We won:
Best Picture for Boston College
Best Costume for all of Boston (1st of 350!) <- that was my doing, and I'm so proud!!
We were nominated in addition for:
Most Original Concept (top 4) for all of Boston

w00t! I'm glad you like it! we pumped so much energy into that trailer!

We regrettably don't have Walden, Walden II or Walden IV made.... but the guy who played Descartes in the movie has an uncle who registered waldenvmovie.com for us... which is insane! At least we'll have a place to promo our fake movie!!

if the movie isn't playing, check to see that you have the latest plug-in/version of Quicktime. right click the movie-box and select "quicktime plug-in" to go to the site to download. I promise, it's worth it!

yeah, i realized that's the case... the system gets overloaded apparently.

it works fine if you go to campusmoviefest.com, click on "Watch the Movies", then "Search the Movies" and type in "Walden V".

Yeah... I was Emily Dickinson... I was only in 3 shots because between day 1 and day 2 of filming i got all messed up and injured! >___<

i had a bonnet on for one of the scenes, I was the girl gettin' kissed in one of the scenes, and I was the girl on the staircase with the knife over thoreau in the other scene

My boyfriend Jeff played John Locke. I daresay his performance made the movie! :-P
