Plenair and Usagi-san by VesteNotus Plenair and Usagi-san by VesteNotus
When I make fan-plushies, I rarely make plushies from games or series' that I'm unfamiliar with.

This is one of the few. Plenair and Usagi-san are from Disgaea, a tactical role-playing game (from what I surmise).
A minor character, Plenair is really cute and has a pretty big fan-base.

After finishing Plenair, I realized something was missing... Usagi-san! I quickly pulled together a stuffed rabbit and VOILA!

Plenair and Usagi-san were made for Mamekakuri of Sheezyart.

So cute!!! I was wondering what type of iron on transfer do you use for the features?

So lovely, really admire your plushies! ^^

^__^ thank you!

the iron-on transfer I use is a fabric "paper" called QuickFuse. I usually order it online, but you can buy it in nice craft stores or fabric stores like JoAnns Fabrics.

It can be a little on the pricey side, but it works great with inkjet printers and the end result is very clean and neat.
:-P

I'm being told it's a pretty hard game to find because the company only released so many

I imagine it was like my quest to find an original copy of Chrono Trigger - you could get it on ebay for $100+, but none of the stores had it or thought they'd be getting it any time soon (new or preowned - didn't matter)

It is! I went to 4 game stores and I couldn't find one copy! I'm just going to end up buying it online I guess....
Ha, actually I did find a copy of Chrono Trigger at one game store. Cost me around $60 I think.

thanks!

also... I don't think I realized you had a DA account! I guess that makes sense - most people on SA have DA accounts (though oddly, not many people on DA have SA accounts).
Its nice to see you're spreading your work across the 'net!

*rubs eyes in disbelief* You've played Disgaea! Hurray! I've been searching for someone who knows about the game Plenair is from!

it means so much to me that you think I've captured her character. I really hate not knowing what I'm doing when it comes to character design. >___<

So what's Disgaea like? Do you recommend it?

Disgaea is an awsome game. <3's~ ^__^ I would definately recommend it. *luffs* It's a tactical based RPG with an extremley fun story line to it. It has this neat thing to where you can travel to a world inside of the weapon you are using and level up the weapon that way. Here is alot of info about the game from Wikipedia. [link] It does alot better job of explaining what it's all about than I could. ^^; My fav characters though are Etna and Flonne. They are both so funny together. XD lol The Prinny's are cool too.~ *___*

The only problem is it's hard to find and when you do find it you'll probably still have to pay $50 + for it even though it's several years old. >_<;; The company that made Disgaea only made so many of them and it turned out to be really popular so now it's a rare and hard to find game. O.o;; At least here in the U.S it is. I dunno about the Japanese and U.K versions though. ^^

Disgaea 2 did finally came out this past August. *bounces* I haven't gotten to play it yet but I know Plenair makes an appearence in that game as well. ^__^ <3's~ There is also a Disgaea anime and manga out as well.~ You could probably find the anime episodes on youtube or something. Not 100% sure on that though. I haven't seen them all myself, but the few I have seen were on youtube. ^_^ The company who released the Disgaea manga in English is Broccoli Books. Here is an article on Wikipedia that also explains the anime, manga, and novels. [link]

Wow. O.o This post turned out long. >////< Sorry for my ramblings. ^^;;; Hope this helps explain the game good though. ^___^v

I'm right there with you! I have no idea what this game is about or who this character is... *shrugs*

I always feel weird doing plushies like that because I'm scared I'll get their facial expressions wrong or something.
