Hurray for horse hats!

I made it for my mum, who wanted to give it to the daughter of a friend of hers. *shakes fist at the freebie*

Well, I'm actually rather content with the design for it all. Making it look remotely horse-like was a challenge, as I also wanted it to look cute. I like the "mane".

Just a thought, but perhaps if you ever made another hat like this you could first test the 'mane' being a thin slit down for the wearer's actual hair to be pulled through.

Besides that though I think it's a wonderful looking hat and definitely much more fun looking than the generic bear or cat ears I see all the time.

Hehe, given the shape of the ears you could even imitate Momo.
