Down at the Diner

Some nice Duo/Heero fanart from Gundam Wing.
If you google my name, you'll see I was once proudly strong in the fanfiction fandom... but my reign has somewhat ended... the least i can do is draw my boys again.

Duo looks like the kind of person who would get a beer and a cigarette at a diner, then steal fries off your plate as if they were his own.
i have to say, i'm really proud of this one, especially Duo's face and hair. normally i go either my style at the time or the gundam wing animated style. here, i tried to fuse my style with the manga style with the pokemon manga style... i rather like it. makes me feel better when i'm vacilating between styles! the copics worked great for his eye color. heero's eyes on the other hand... naturally, they're smaller than Duo's, but that almost offsets the picture. i had to emphasize those prussian blues or you'd never see 'em

luckily, his shirt came out better than i expected
the couch came out just as i expected
and the mirror had some kinks in it until it resembled what i had expected
