Cait Sith the Plushie by VesteNotus Cait Sith the Plushie by VesteNotus
Yay! Somebody likes Cait Sith... FINALLY!!! haha! just kidding!!

Cait Sith is from FF7. :iconiwannapiercemybrain: ~IWannaPierceMyBrain commissioned me to make that silly cat (without the fluffy mog he sits on). Originally, I was just gonna make some bizzarro SD kitty with my usual plushie patterns until I realized that hey! I could make it look legitimately like Cait Sith from the videogame!!

I spent a lot of time workin' on the pattern so when it all came together so perfectly, I was so super excited! I'll prolly make a Cait Sith for me now! *giggles*
~IWannaPierceMyBrain: it took me all my willpower not to snuggle with your plushie. I know better than to snuggle merchandise! :-P

Cait Sith will now be sold for $30. I'm pretty sure that's an increase from ~IWannaPierceMyBrain's buying price, but makin' Cait Sith is a lot of work! ^___^;;
I broke my first needle right in half sewing that bugger's leg on!!

Cait Sith stands at about 12'' from foot to ear.

Do you think you would be willing to do a bigger version? A 30 incher? We can negotiate price via a note if so.

Well, I was waiting for you send the money for the hat, but you've been waiting so long for your plushie...

The next time I go to the post office, I'll probablly send your Gau plushie out. I'm low on black fabric, so I unfortunately can't send the (incomplete) panda hat with him just yet, but when you do send the money for it, I'll prolly have it finished and send that up to you. Don't worry about S/H. I feel bad that you had to wait so long for Gau that I'll just ship the hat up as soon as I get the $10 American for it.
^___^;;

sorry for the confusion!!

the nose was... well... it was interesting...
basically I just thought readlly hard on what shape I wanted for the nose... I've been mimicing patterns and such for so long that when faced with the need to create a shape, with enough thought, I can make said shape...

I'd be happy to share my "nose pattern" with you!

point of fact, Cait Sith is scottish!
I heard his name is supposed to be pronounced like "cat she", if you take into concideration the Scottish pronounciation rules.

weird, huh?

I don't have one unfortunately, but my Grandad does (a lot of people have a hard time understanding him) and so do other members of my family on my mum's side. We had family come over from Scottland and they asked for a bucket, they had their two little kids with them so my step-dad thought one of them was gonna throw up. Mum explained that by bucket they meant a bin, that is what they call bins in Scottland buckets! :giggle:

I can't wait to get him :D . Oh, and I love the photo on the left side of the bottom row :XD: . Also, I'm definetly going to ask you to do another one later, but I haven't decided of who yet...

HURRAY! I'm glad you approve! I'll be sending him out as soon as I buy the box to do so!
^___^;; I depleated my box-stash... another trip to the post-office will be in order!

The bottom leftside photo is one of my favorites too! The mentality behind it: "Crap! what looks like a mog... uhh... pillows! pillows look like mogs!"

I really do hope you continue to order plushies from me! This is super-fun!

It really looks like something the company would make themselves =D

I want a job with a local newspaper but they wont return my calls. A contact of mine says they really want me to work there but I can't wait forever so I'll just find a generic job at Publix or something.

Anyway, anything that makes me some money is alright. I've no bills to pay so so the income will be good :nod:

It looks like something the company would make themselves because she is using a pattern donated for practice by a professional plush artist. I recognize the pieces.
The pattern was donated with the stipulation of not making more than 10 a year for sale, but I guess some people don't bother to read the fine print...
